National Trails Day Celebration

We're celebrating National Trails Day by getting on the trails!  Afterwards, we'll meet back at the Buena Viking for burgers & beers.  10% of proceeds from 2:00 - close will be donated to support our local trails!

12:00 - mountain bike ride

12:30 - trail run

1:00 - family fun ride, hike, or run

2:00 - party at the Buena Viking!

All events will begin & end at the Buena Viking.  The goal is to have everyone finish around 2:00 for the party at the Viking.  

The mountain bike ride (12:00) will take a quick spin through the newly-built Tater Tots trail before crossing the bridge & taking on more challenging terrain (we live in a valley, everything goes up!).   Route will be determined during the ride & there may be a couple of different groups formed based on ability.  Overall, the ride will be suitable for all intermediate riders, with options for more challenging terrain if group size allows for a split.  It will be a no drop group that regroups at all junctions.  

The trail run (12:30) will leave the Viking for a quick loop through Tater Tots trail, before crossing the bridge for a 5-6 mile loop on the trails.  We may split into groups depending on size & ability.  It will be a no drop group that will regroup at all junctions.  

The family fun ride, hike, or run begins at 1:00 & will head to the Tater Tots trail.  Anyone with strollers or anyone looking for a smoother option can use the newly-surfaced Walton Loop trail, which parallels Tater Tots.  From there, participants can head back to the Viking or do a quick loop around the pump track on the French Fry trail.
