Trail Work - Midland Trail Reroute
We're continuing work on the Midland Trail Reroute. Meet at Shield's Gulch TH for an ~2 mile hike to the work site. Please bring plenty of water, snacks, & lunch.

About the event
Directions to Shield's Gulch TH:
From the light at US 24 & 285, head west through Johnson Village ~5.5 miles.
Turn left onto CR 315. This turn is a bit hidden by a guard rail & it can be hard to see the entrance to 315. This turn is just past the 2-lane passing section of US 285.
Follow CR 315 for ~.25 mile to the Shield's Gulch TH. The lower section of the road is a little rocky, but is passable for most passenger vehicles. Low riders not recommended.
