We're partnering with the BV Optimist Club to bring you a weekend of trail fun!

Enjoy unmatched views of the Collegiate Peaks as you take on this fun & challenging course. Participants will experience BV's diverse trail offerings, including sandy OHV trails, rolling gravel roads, & flowing singletrack.

The Course
BV adventure riding at it's finest!

Starting at the BV Community Center, you'll enjoy a cruise along the Arkansas River before heading north to the Fourmile Recreation Area, where you'll experience OHV trails, rolling gravel roads, a creek crossing, & amazing views of the Sawatch Range. From there, you'll link up with some fantastic singletrack which will bring you back into BV for the post-ride party!

What bike you ride is your choice, but we recommend something with at least 50mm (~2") tires.

Event is capped at 150 participants.
All participants will receive event apparel & finisher award.
Register by 4/15 to guarantee your goodies.
There are no podium awards as this in not a race. But ride it fast if you want to. Or don't. Whatever, just enjoy. The ride will be timed, so you will have official times, & therefore, a "winner". But hey, you're all winners in our book!
Volunteer Positions
Sunday Morning Setup (5/4; 6:00 - 8:00 a.m.)
- Setup the Start/Finish area.

Sunday Morning Packet Pickup (5/4; 6:30 - 8:00 a.m.)
- Get participants ready to ride the morning of!
​
Course Marshal (5/4; 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.)​
- Make sure our riders stay safe & on course at key junctions.
​
Finish Line Festivities (5/4; 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
- Celebrate finishers, hand out medals, & help with timing.

Cleanup (5/4; 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.)
- Help us cleanup the Start/Finish area.
FAQs
How long is the course?
25.3 miles with an elevation gain of 3,455 ft.

What type of bike should I ride?
We'd recommend anything with at least a 50c tire. You'll encounter sand, gravel, & singletrack. We enjoy this route on anything from a gravel to a fat bike.
​
Are there fueling stations?
There are 2 fueling stations on the course (miles 11.6 & 17.9).
Fueling stations will be stocked with salty snacks and water.

Is it a race?
The event will be timed, however it is not an official "race". All participants will receive a finisher award, whether you're first or last.
